9882-%E2%80%9896%3B%20US%20Senate%3A%20%E2%80%9897-%E2%80%9902.%20His%20combat%20awards%20are%3A%20Soldier%E2%80%99s%20Medal%2C%20Bronze%20Star%20Medal%2C%20and%20the%20Silver%20Star.Donnie%20Lee%20Cochran%20%28ACHIEVEMENT%29Captain%2C%20Navy%2C%20Pelham.%20He%20was%20selected%20and%20served%20as%20a%20Pilot%2C%20Flight%20Leader%2C%20and%20Commanding%20Officer%20%28CO%29%20of%20the%20Navy%E2%80%99s%20Flight%20Demonstration%20Squadron%2C%20The%20Blue%20Angels%2C%20where%20he%20flew%20over%201%2C500%20hours%20at%20240%20air%20shows%20in%20three%20years.%20After%20the%20Blue%20Angels%2C%20he%20deployed%20to%20the%20Persian%20Gulf%20and%20flew%2024%20missions%20over%20Southern%20Iraq%20enforcing%20the%20southern%20no%20fly%20zone.%20Later%20he%20was%20the%20CO%20of%20NROTC%20at%20Florida%20A%20%26amp%3B%20M%20University%20and%20the%20Deputy%20CO%20of%20Navy%20Recruiting.%20He%20retired%20after%2024%20years%20of%20service%20with%202%2C000%20flight%20hours%20and%20469%20carrier%20landings%20in%20fighter%20aircraft.Michael%20Patrick%20Dover%20%28SERVICE%29Master%20Sergeant%2C%20Army%2C%20Ellerslie.%20After%20retiring%20from%20active%20duty%2C%20he%20has%20spent%20untold%20hours%20selflessly%20tending%20to%20the%20needs%20of%20Veterans.%20This%20service%20includes%3A%20President%20of%20the%20South%20Atlantic%20Center%20for%20Veterans%20Education%20%26amp%3B%20Training%20where%20he%20has%20helped%20over%2010%2C000%20homeless%20Veterans%20and%20was%20instrumental%20in%20the%20planning%20of%20a%20center%20for%20homeless%20Veterans%20in%20Cuthbert.%20With%20the%20Disabled%20American%20Veterans%20%28DAV%29%2C%20he%20has%20been%20Ga%20State%20Commander%20and%20Ga%20State%20Chaplain%2C%20and%20is%20currently%20the%20National%20DAV%20Chaplin%20where%20he%20continues%20working%20with%20homeless%20Veterans.%20Ray%20McKibben%20%28MEDAL%20OF%20HONOR%29%20%28KIA%29Sergeant%2C%20Army%2C%20Felton.%20On%208%20Dec%201968%20in%20Vietnam%20serving%20as%20the%20point%20element%20of%20a%20reconnaissance%20patrol%2C%20he%20led%20an%20effective%2C%20deadly%2C%20single-man%20assault%20against%20six%20heavily%20fortified%20enemy%20machine%20gun%20positions%2C%20causing%20the%20enemy%20to%20either%20flee%20or%20be%20killed%20by%20his%20effective%20rifle%20fire%20and%20hand%20grenades.%20At%20one%20time%2C%20he%20ran%20out%20of%20ammunition%20but%20continued%20with%20a%20captured%20weapon.%20During%20his%20final%20bunker%20assault%2C%20he%20was%20mortally%20wounded%20but%20still%20managed%20to%20continue%20firing%20and%20killing%20the%20enemy%20within.%20His%20combat%20awards%20are%3A%20Combat%20Infantry%20Badge%2C%20Purple%20Heart%2C%20and%20the%20Medal%20of%20Honor.%20Burton%20DeWayne%20Patrick%20%28SERVICE%29Lieutenant%20General%2C%20Army%2C%20Thomson.%20Graduating%20for%20North%20Georgia%20College%20in%201957%2C%20he%20went%20on%20to%20lead%20an%20exemplary%20life%20of%20a%20service%20to%20others.%20While%20in%20command%20of%20the%20101st%20Airborne%20Division%20%28Air%20Assault%29%2C%20tragedy%20struck.%20On%2012%20Dec%201985%2C%20248%20of%20his%20Soldiers%20and%208%20Airmen%20were%20killed%20in%20an%20aircraft%20crash%20in%20Canada.%20His%20untiring%2C%20humble%2C%20and%20selfless%20devotion%20to%20their%20families%20and%20to%20their%20memory%20is%20unparalleled%20and%20forever%20stands%20as%20the%20perfect%20example%20of%20a%20leader%20and%20servant.%20His%20combat%20awards%20are%3A%20Combat%20Infantry%20Badge%2C%20Bronze%20Star%20Medal%20%28Valor%20-%202%29%2C%20and%20the%20Silver%20Star.%20%20Horace%20Richard%20Pearl%20%28VALOR%29%20Command%20Sergeant%20Major%2C%20Army%2C%20Griffin.%20On%2024%20Jun%201944%20in%20France%2C%20he%20successfully%20led%20a%20four%20man%20patrol%20behind%20German%20lines%20to%20secure%20the%20identification%20of%20enemy%20units.%20When%20attacked%20by%20an%20enemy%20machine%20gun%2C%20he%20led%20his%20small%20team%20on%20a%20fearless%20counter-attack%20resulting%20in%20four%20enemy%20killed%20and%20causing%2030%20others%20to%20flee%20in%20panic.%20During%20WWII%20with%20the%2082nd%20Airborne%20Division%2C%20he%20made%20all%20four%20combat%20jumps%20in%20Europe%20and%20then%20two%20more%20during%20the%20Korean%20War.%20His%20combat%20awards%20are%3A%20Combat%20Infantry%20Badge%2C%20Purple%20Heart%20%284%29%2C%20Master%20Parachute%20Badge%20%286%20Combat%20Jumps%29%2C%20and%20the%20Silver%20Star.Philip%20Leslie%20Spackman%20%28VALOR%29First%20Lieutenant%2C%20Army%2C%20Jasper.%20In%20Vietnam%2C%20on%20eight%20occasions%2C%20as%20an%20Armored%20Personnel%20Carrier%20Platoon%20Leader%2C%20he%20distinguished%20himself%20by%20selfless%2C%20courageous%20actions.%20On%202%20Jul%201969%20when%20one%20of%20his%20vehicles%20was%20ambushed%2C%20wounding%20all%20occupants%2C%20he%20immediately%20dismounted%20and%20rushed%20through%20intense%20rifle%20fire%20to%20the%20aid%20of%20the%20wounded%2C%20killing%20some%20of%20the%20attackers%2C%20en-route.%20He%20then%20led%20an%20attack%20that%20routed%20the%20remaining%20en
